Yes, private hydrants, post indicator valves, and backflow prevention assemblies have specific inspection requirements. Private hydrants must have their flow verified and be physically inspected, whereas the valves just need a functional test. We perform these tests at the same time as the tests for your sprinkler system, and we send one document that has the combined results.
